Sharpe, author of The Quarry Fox, and Nancy Furstinger, author of Catskill Creatures, will talk about the wild animals of the Catskills, take questions, and sign books at the Historical Society of Woodstock, 20 Comeau Drive, Woodstock. In The Quarry Fox, Leslie T. Sharpe chronicles the seasons and the vibrant wildlife of a landscape she cherishes, offering her keen insights in an engaging narrative that celebrates the splendor of the natural world. Leslie T. Sharpe is a former Vice President of the New York City Bird Alliance and a naturalist living in the Great Western Catskills. Her book won a Gold Medal from the Independent Book Publishers Book Award for excellence.
Nancy Furstinger has written over 100 children’s books.
